Ihre Hauptziele sind die F\u00f6rderung und Verbreitung der Lehren Buddhas aus dem Pali-Kanon und der damit verbundenen Literatur der Theravada-Tradition. Aus dieser grundlegenden Perspektive ist die Vereinigung in einem integrativen Geist offen f\u00fcr alle anderen buddhistischen Traditionen und Schulen, um ein besseres Verst\u00e4ndnis des Buddhismus in seiner ganzen Breite und Vielfalt zu f\u00f6rdern.<br><br>Die Hauptaktivit\u00e4ten sind Ausbildung und Bildung durch das Hispanic Institute of Buddhist Studies sowie solche, die sich auf buddhistische Hingabe, Meditation und die Aus\u00fcbung von N\u00e4chstenliebe und anderen buddhistischen Tugenden zur F\u00f6rderung des materiellen und spirituellen Wohls der Gesellschaft beziehen.
