Inter-Religious & Inter-Convictional Dialogue
(CIRICD & NIRIC)

The EBU has had participatory status in the Conferência de Organizações Internacionais Não-Governamentais (COINGO) no Conselho da Europa since 2008, where it contributes to interfaith dialogue and the work of other CINGO committees such as those on human rights and gender equality.

Em 2021, a UER ajudou a iniciar a Comité para o Diálogo Inter-religioso e Interconviccional (CIRICD), along with other faith-based INGOs.

O objetivo principal do CIRICD é estabelecer uma plataforma permanente para o diálogo inter-religioso e inter-confessional no Conselho da Europa e nos seus 46 Estados-membros, criando oportunidades de cooperação entre grupos religiosos, instituições e órgãos governamentais. 

To achieve this, the Committee established the Network for Inter-Religious & Inter-Convictional Dialogue and Initiatives (NIRIC-Dialogue) destacar e reunir novas e existentes iniciativas da sociedade civil europeia no domínio do diálogo inter-religioso, e promover exemplos práticos.
