Established in 2020 by Dr. B. Alan Wallace, the Center for Contemplative Research in Castellina Marittima, Italy \u2014 known as CCR Europe \u2014 is part of a global network of ground-breaking research observatories that provide the ideal environments for dedicated contemplatives to explore the nature and potentials of consciousness first-hand, while fully engaging with scientists to develop rigorous measures for novel research into the nature of the mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Working collaboratively across the interface of religion, science, and philosophy, we seek to catalyse a revolution in the mind sciences and nurture a renaissance within the world\u2019s great contemplative traditions, so that together we may discover the true causes of sustainable well – being, grounded in nonviolence and compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
