Prisons, hospitals, and hospices are the places where the new chaplains will serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was followed by a visit from Stefano Bettera, President of the European Buddhist Union, to Dharma Gate University. A second course, set to begin in 2027, is already in planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pioneering initiative, a milestone for the social engagement of Buddhism throughout
