The \u0421\u0435\u0442\u044c \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0434\u0438\u0439\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0445 \u0436\u0435\u043d\u0449\u0438\u043d \u0415\u0432\u0440\u043e\u043f\u044b<\/a> is an informal network set up in 2006 by members of Sakyadhita: The International Association of Buddhist Women<\/a> and others within the European Buddhist Union, to inform European citizens about the role of women and nuns in Buddhism and to raise awareness of their situation worldwide.

The network advocates for equal opportunities for Buddhist women in areas such as teaching, decision-making, access to
education and ordination. Particular attention is paid to interreligious dialogue and the equal participation of women in it.
